It's 1998. Do you know where your forties are?
Believe it or not, The Bats are coming up on 10 years of togetherness. Ten years of funny songs and temper tantrums, hot flashes and hormonal surges, tight harmonies and loose morals, rehearsals and reversals, control tops and popped corks, big gigs and small victories, emptying nests and infinite jests.
Let's face it, some settling has occurred!
But enough about what's behind us. (And we mean that in every possible way. Mama don't allow no talkin' about our behinds.)
Instead, let's look ahead. Fifty is the New Fabulous! And Fifty-Something is even Fabulous-er! On October 31st, we'll deck ourselves out in our finest Batregalia for a blow-out show of your favorite oldies, new tunes by Marianne and Melanie, door prizes extraordinaire, and who knows what all. Hell, we may even slap on some Spanx for that behind-us problem! (Sorry, Sweet Potato Queens. At this age, we DO wear panties to parties.)
