Dang, it's roasting! Hope all of you have your reservations to come see us in the air-conditioned comfort of the Thoroughbred Theater in Midway, KY, this Friday. The music should get underway shortly after 7 PM, and we're gonna keep at it until either 10 PM or we melt our mascara, whichever comes first. If you don't have plans to come yet, there are a very few seats remaining, so call Quirk Cafe

Now, about food and drink. Quirk has a few tables left for dinner before the show. They'll open at 5 PM, and would like to have all orders in by 6:20 PM. Call the number above for dinner reservations. Or you may certainly dine in any of the other fine Midway establishments. Quirk itself does not have a wine & beer license (although there's a wee chance that they will by Friday), but the good news is that the Thoroughbred Theatre will be selling wine by the glass (as well as soft drinks and coffee)during the show. This means that you don't have to bring your own bottle---in fact, you CAN'T bring your own bottle into the theatre. Plan accordingly! "Nuff said!
If (alas!) we don't get to see you in Midway, plan on dashing to downtown Lexington on August 18 and/or 19, when we'll be back at Natasha's Cafe.

P.S. If you haven't had a chance to see The Johnson Brothers doing The Beatles' White Album yet, you have another shot at it this Saturday, July 22, at Natasha's Cafe. They'll put the needle to the vinyl, so to speak, at 9:00, and play the whole dang (there's that word again) thing, note for note. Pretty amazing.
