March Batness

Hi Batfans,
-
Spring has definitely sprung, and so has Tubby! Birds are chirping, flowers are blooming, half-naked college kids are doing goodness-knows-what on the quad, bunnies are burying plastic eggs, and the floodgates of pollen are open. We can't tell whether we're sad about Tubby or our eyes are watering from allergens, but if we can see well enough to type for a few minutes, we want to tell you about our upcoming shows.

Saturday, April 28, is the date.
Natasha's Cafe, downtown Lexington on Esplanade, is the place.
7:00 Dinner Show. $10 cover.
9:30 Cocktail Show. $7 cover.
Reservations with credit card required. Call 859-259-2754 beginning April 2. -

And speaking of groovy, here's your moment of Zen, especially for spring:

59th Street Bridge Song (Simon and Garfunkel)
-
Slow down, you move too fast.
You got to make the morning last.
Just kicking down the cobble stones.
Looking for fun and feelin' groovy.
Ba da, Ba da, Ba da, Ba da...Feelin' Groovy.
Hello lamp-post,
What cha knowin'?
I've come to watch your flowers growin'.
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doot-in' doo-doo,
Feelin' groovy.
I've got no deeds to do,
No promises to keep.
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep.
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me.
Life, I love you,
All is groovy. -
Achoo!
